The story, features, and new challenges (such as raid encounters) of Guild Wars 2: Janthir Wilds will gradually appear in various stages, offering new and frequent content at launch and in subsequent updates.

Uncharted Wilds:

• Full of mursaat ruins and harrowing navigation, the famous Janthir Isles have always been carefully guarded by the wizards of the Astral Ward, and for most inhabitants of Tyria, they are a distant legend. But recent events have inspired world leadership to form the Tyrian Alliance and send you, wayfinder of the Astral Ward, to secure new alliances. As you search for the kodan colony in Janthir, you will explore, fight, and learn more about the mysteries of Tyria's past.

Build Your Estate:

• Your adventures in Guild Wars 2: Janthir Wilds will bring you your own estate, a personal instance for your entire account with a structure and terrain to decorate and cultivate. Estates share unlockable resources from your home instance, such as harvesting nodes and gardening plots.

A New Weapon for All Professions:

• For the first time in the history of Guild Wars 2, a new weapon will be introduced for land combat: the two-handed spear. Although originally designed for underwater combat only, Guild Wars 2: Janthir Wilds will offer the opportunity to freely switch between land and aquatic weapons, each with unique weapon skills. Furthermore, all professions will receive proficiency with the land spear, introducing a significant variety of combat between professions and more dynamic gameplay. To further increase customization, a new collection of relics will be introduced at launch and in future updates, allowing you to incorporate unique effects into your sets.

Master Your Warclaw:

• Experience an enhanced warclaw mount, featuring its own Mastery line and a new way to obtain it. Armed with a wide variety of skills, this formidable companion will help you defeat some of the fiercest enemies in Guild Wars 2: Janthir Wilds.
