Long ago, the Great Beast arose from the seas and covered the land in a poisonous fog. Draining the lands of both life and light, a new era of tremendous misery began.

Legendary for its meticulous design and dense dungeons, the King's Field series was Dark Souls before Dark Souls existed. Long abandoned by AA/AAA developers, the mantle of "King's-Like" is left to humble indies. Which is great, because that's where the unexpected and cool things come from anyway.
