The Kingdom of Myrtana has been invaded by a relentless horde of orcs.
King Rhobar II, needing a large amount of magical ores to forge powerful weapons, operates the mines of Khorinis with all available prisoners. To prevent them from escaping, the monarch asks his best mages to create a magical barrier. But something goes wrong. The magic spirals out of control, and a riot turns the mines into a turf of mayhem controlled by the most violent prisoners.
The King is forced to negotiate with the new owners, while tension between the mines' different factions rises. What no one expected was that the intervention of an unknown prisoner would change everything.
