THE GAME:

Edge of Sanity is a psychological horror and survival game set in the unforgiving wilderness of Alaska, featuring hand-drawn 2D art and an intense atmosphere inspired by the Cthulhu Mythos.

You were part of a resupply team assisting scientists working at the Alaska field lab. Upon arriving at the site absent of humanity, you are faced with horrifying creatures and, during the escape, your group becomes separated. Barely managing to escape and set up a makeshift camp, it is time to uncover the truth of what happened.

Explore hostile caves, forgotten mines, and hidden laboratories in search of precious resources for yourself and other survivors. Look for clues to uncover the dark secrets of the mysterious organization PRISM and unravel the true story behind their experiments.

Every day in this remote area is a harsh struggle for survival. With limited food and supplies, and your sanity pushed to the limit. Be prepared to improvise and seek any advantage you may have against various monstrosities. It is entirely up to you whether the darkness consumes you completely or if you can hold onto what remains of your sanity.

Each dramatic event during your traverse across Alaska leaves a permanent scar on your mind. Accumulating madness results in acquiring traumas, affecting your characters’ actions and sense of reality, opening new dialogue options, and enabling you to craft entirely new items.



Manage your crew’s morale
Even in the most hostile environment, you need a place to rest and plan your future expeditions. Find and assign remaining survivors, and send them out on scouting missions and build stations to produce food, water, and other resources. But don’t let your guard down - with people being on the edge, anything can happen.



Multiple ways of approaching the fight
