The world has ended. ZERO Sievert requires you to scavenge and gather equipment in various different areas, all set in a fictional post-apocalyptic Eastern European scenario. Your base of operations, the shelter, is filled with traders, modification stations, and crafting areas, providing progression through your excursions abroad.

However, when you are in the devastated territories, the situation becomes much less secure. In the game's five biomes, initially, you will have only one weapon and a bottle of water, after which it will be up to you to collect items, defeat bandits, and, most importantly, return alive.

And don't forget: nuclear radiation may have impacted some of the local living beings...
