About

Inner Ashes is a first-person narrative adventure in which the player can experience how Alzheimer's affects people and their memories through an emotional story about a father and a daughter, presented in dreamlike sequences.

The main character, Henry, must embark on an introspective journey through two different realities in an attempt to remember why he has been separated from his only daughter, Enid, for so long.

  • JOSEPH - As Henry's best friend and colleague, he plays an important role in both Henry's past and present.

GAME MECHANICS: 

  • The mechanics of this game are based on techniques used to help alleviate symptoms of Alzheimer's in patients of the disease.
  • Sticky notes help Henry recognize and remember how to use objects.
  • Tangram puzzles stimulate Henry's memory and unlock important memories of his life with Enid.
