THE GAME:

Put on your cleats, open your helmet, adjust your shoulder pads and breastplate, and (discreetly)... hide a knife attached to your belt.

Warfare disappeared from the Ancient World when the inhabitants decided to settle differences through the sacred sport of the Neffel gods: the Blood Bowl. Still, this sport is as violent as the battlegrounds it replaced. Deaths, mutilations, fraud, corruption, forgeries and at the same time divine intervention are constant presences on the field, to the joy of the fans!

• Be ruthless but use your wits – Choose your team from 12 available races, each with unique traits, and intelligently position players to thwart the opposition's advance. Outrun the opposition or, better yet, be relentless and destroy everyone who crosses your path to the End Zone to score the decisive touchdown! Of course, the best strategists often have the upper hand, but... who knows? A raging troll can always eat a teammate and change the course of the game.
• You're the boss – Create your team, summon players, customize appearance, shields and armor, recruit cheerleaders and a coach, then enter the fiercest competitions of the Ancient World. Be careful: injuries are common and it is very likely that some of your players will leave the field in black bags, thus reaching the sad end of a promising career…
