Little Orpheus
About
The year is 1962, and NASA is trying to put a man on the moon. In a remote region of Siberia, a Soviet cosmonaut is heading in another direction. Comrade Ivan Ivanovich lands on an extinct volcano with his exploration pod, Little Orpheus, to explore the center of the Earth. And disappears immediately.
Three years later, he reappears claiming to have saved the world. He also lost the atomic bomb that fueled Little Orpheus. Ivan Ivanovich is taken to a top secret bunker under the Ural Mountains to be interrogated by the dreaded General Yurkovoi, a man so frightening even Stalin wouldn't buy him a drink. The general rolls up his sleeves, gives Ivan an icy look, and asks, "So... where have you been, comrade?" And where's my bomb?" Ivan meets Yurkovoi's gaze and replies, "Well, General, I don't think you're going to believe what happened to me, but I'll try to tell you. Well, that's how it happened..."
Join our fearless but hapless hero as he explores lost civilizations, sunken kingdoms, prehistoric jungles and unimaginable lands. Be amazed to see him take on the subhuman Menkv tribe and escape the clutches of terrifying monsters! Celebrate his triumphs over enduring adversity and the establishment of socialism in the underworlds!
Little Orpheus is a technicolor side-scrolling adventure game inspired by movies like Flash Gordon, Sinbad, and The Land That Time Forgot. Little Orpheus's puzzle-platforming levels are simple enough for casual players, but at the same time, interesting for fans experiencing adventures.
