THE GAME:

Guild Wars 2: Janthir Wilds is the latest expansion of Guild Wars 2.

While the Seekers and their allies fought against Kryptis, the leadership of Tyria was secretly working to form the Tyria Alliance. Now it's time to present the Court of the Mage and the Astral Guard to the world and strengthen the various nations. Embark on a risky expedition in search of support in the treacherous jungles of Janthir, where hidden secrets and malevolent creatures lurk, awaiting your arrival.

The story, features, and new challenges (such as attack encounters) of Guild Wars 2: Janthir Wilds will gradually appear in various phases, offering new and frequent content at release and in subsequent updates.

Unexplored Jungles:

• Full of mursaat ruins and dangerous navigation, the famous Janthir Islands have always been carefully guarded by the mages of the Astral Guard, and for most inhabitants of Tyria, they are a distant legend. But recent events have inspired world leadership to form the Tyria Alliance and send you, seeker of the Astral Guard, to secure new alliances. While searching for the kodan colony in Janthir, you will explore, fight, and learn more about the mysteries of Tyria's past.

Build Your Property:

• Your adventures in Guild Wars 2: Janthir Wilds will provide you with your own property, a personal instance for your entire account with a structure and land to decorate and cultivate. Properties share unlockable resources from your residential instance, such as harvesting nodes and gardening plots.

A New Weapon for All Professions:

• For the first time in the history of Guild Wars 2, a new weapon will be introduced for ground combat: the two-handed spear. Although originally designed only for underwater combat, Guild Wars 2: Janthir Wilds will offer the opportunity to freely switch between ground and aquatic weapons, each with unique weapon abilities. In addition, all professions will gain proficiency with the terrestrial spear, introducing a significant variety of combat between professions and more dynamic gameplay. To further increase customization, a new collection of relics will be introduced at launch and in future updates, allowing you to incorporate unique effects into your sets.

Master Your Warclaw:

• Experience an enhancement in the warclaw mount, featuring its own Mastery line and a new way to obtain it. Armed with a wide variety of skills, this formidable companion will help you defeat some of the fiercest enemies in Guild Wars 2: Janthir Wilds.
